New Schedule Course Codes

Hello Clover Bar Parents!

 

Happy first day of school for the 2022-2023 school year!

 

There are a few things with the schedules that we’d like to help clarify.  There were a few course codes that we used in previous years, that were not available for us to use this year.  As a result, we had to use other course codes that makes reading the schedules a bit more difficult.  We will add this information to our website.

The list below is in the following format:  The course name that you will see on the student’s schedule may not be the actual course they are registered in

 

Grade 7

Art 7.1 = Art (semester 1)

Art 7.2 = Art (semester 2)

Art 7.3 = Sculpting (semester 2)

Art 7.4 = Cartooning (semester 1)

Construction Advanced 7.1 = Hand Tools (semester 1)

Construction Advanced 7.2 = Hand Tools (semester 2)

Digital Design = Scratch (semester 2)

Media Studies 7.1 = Music and pop culture (semester 1)

Media Studies 7.2 = Music and pop culture (semester 2)

Information processing 7.1= Computer programming (semester 1)

Information processing 7.2 = computer programming (semester 2)

Culinary Arts 7.1 = Snacks and apps (semester 1)

Culinary Arts 7.2 = Snacks and apps (semester 2)

 

Grade 8

Art 8.1 = Art (semester 1)

Art 8.2 = Art (semester 2)

Art 8.3 = Sculpting (semester 1)

Art 8.4 = Cartooning (semester 2)

Computer Science 8.1= App Savvy (semester 1)

Construction Advanced 8.2 = Sign art (semester 2)

Special Projects = PLACE peer support (both semesters)

STEM Challenge 8.1 = Myth busting (semester 1)

STEM Challenge 8.2 = Myth busting (semester 2)

 

Grade 9

Art 9.1 = Art (semester 1)

Art 9.2 = Art (semester 2)

Art 9.3 = Advanced Drawing (semester 1)

Art 9.4 = Advanced Drawing (semester 2)

Construction Advanced 9.1 = Advanced Construction (semester 1)

Construction Advanced 9.2 = Sign Art (semester 2)

Management and Marketing = Project Business (semester 1)

Performing Arts = Improv (semester 2)
